Fornals
Fuck me this lad can run !

Apparently the most covered by any footballer in the Prem over the weekend.

Plus his consistency levels are on the up

Not the first player you think of s being our best player but he has become an integral player for our team

A modern day Geoff Pike, one for the youngsters !

No longer seems to be dividing opinion between those who know their stuff and could acknowledge his contribution and the knobs who reckoned he was shit.

Re: Fornals
Our most underrated player is finally getting the praise he deserves. He is a hard worker but not short of skill and can put in a killer pass.

Re: Fornals
Get him to sign a new contract. Real or Barca will be after the lad for sure!

Lily Hammer 2:46 Tue Aug 24
Re: Fornals
He has shown the bottle and determination to adapt to the rigours and pace of the PL. Anyone who watched him play for the Spanish u21s would have clearly seen he was a talented footballer, but at first he was so often on the floor throwing up his arms in disbelief that he hadn’t been awarded a free kick. It’s a sign of his character how well he has come up to speed, and like Rice, he seems to be getting a bit better every game.

There’s more to come from this lad.

Re: Fornals
Have always liked him from the start, I even love the frustration of him missing great chances (in reflection of course)......he fucking gets into these brilliant positions in the first place and we have always lacked a player of his ability to do so.

Superb all round from him.....he wants so badly to win.

Excellent player, absolutely love his appetite and love for the game.

He’s been brilliant so far this season let’s hope it continues

Re: Fornals
Now that he has got used to the physicality (including that legbreaker from Perez) he is going from strength to strength.
That sort of energy and effort in midfield is what we have missed for a long time.

I love his enthusiasm. Is there anyone else that looks so HAPPY for other players when we score?

He's been an integral part of the team since joining.

I've always rated him.

Re: Fornals
Just a superb footballer. We are lucky to have him.

I think huge credit to Moyes for giving these guys all the games last year even if as subs in some cases. The benefit of last years introduction to the Prem for Benrhama Bowen and Fornals is so apparent this year.

I'm starting to get excited about the league this year. tbh I'd rather not be in the Europa and be able to go flat out for top 4 spot. But we'll see!

Re: Fornals
That moment last season when he perfectly controlled a long ball which came over his shoulder was a remarkable piece of skill, and the finish was pretty good, too.

Anyone who can't see he is a bloody good player after that amazes me.

They've probably noticed it in Leicester.

Re: Fornals
Being played in his correct position has probably helped with his current performance level. Hopefully he doesn’t get moved to the left wing again.

Re: Fornals
Fortunately he covers a lot of ground but doesn't appear to be coveted by any other club.. Long may that continue

Re: Fornals
As I've said for a long time. Great player. Took a few months to settle in and since then he's been fucking brilliant.

I've no idea why some people can't see how good he is.

Re: Fornals
I'll hold my hands up to having criticized him in the past, but it was only for three things: his lack of pace, his finishing and his tendency to want too long on the ball. It looks like he has been working on the finishing - last night's goal was superbly taken. His lack of pace is a fact, not an opinion. But in this respect he reminds me of Sheringham - everyone used to say his quick thinking made up for his slow pace. He is clearly an intelligent player, and that, along with his continued adaptation to the PL, means we have got a player on our hands.

Arsenal were sniffing around for a while. But there's no reason for him to move to a relegation candidate.

Re: Fornals
He ran the furthest in the Prem yesterday, 12.3 Km I think. Won a few headers, scores a goal. Top man.

Shame he's so slow he makes Noble look like a pumped up jamaican sprinter.
